Holding Space for Winter
Winter has found us. Whether by snow or by loss we are called inwards to find our warmth and our safety.
As the snow settles on the ground in Texas, fires rage in California. There is a collective sense of tiredness, and as the year begins, it feels as if the swell of pressure continues.
As activists, caregivers, friends, partners, and humans, it is vital to our work and our healing to take time to sit in the quiet, come back to ourselves, and make space for compassion and expansion.
Beginning January 18th, I will be hosting a free virtual four-part yoga meditation series and would love to invite you to join us.
Nothing is required; simply bring yourself, a journal, and an open mind.
* Recordings of each mediation session will be available to monthly Substack subscribers ($5 month- cancel anytime) the week following

A Four-Part Online Yoga Meditation Series
Join me each Saturday for a calming practice of gentle movement, guided meditation, and journaling, all centered around wintering—a season of rest, healing, and quiet renewal when life feels heavy.
“As winter is a time of retreat and hibernation for much of the natural world, wintering is the process by which our bodies and souls seek rest and recuperation when the clouds descend and light fades.” — Katherine May
