Mixing it up because it feels fun! Hope you enjoy some new content - but beware it might just empower you to dream bigger.
Here’s the deal. I’ve been telling myself I was ready to make 10k months for over five years now.
I’ve gotten upwards of 3k, but I’ve mostly spent my time playing small and hoping the shoe would eventually drop.
Hoping that the tides would suddenly turn in my favor and divine direction would shift my reality instantaneously. To no avail.
So the other day I was doing the embodiment work I use with my clients all the time, writing out that bloody 10k month goal for the millionth time.
And while I was doing it, a version of me appeared in very Obi-Wan Kenobi fashion and whispered, “now make it 10x bigger.”
The reality was this: if I’d been dreaming of 10k months for YEARS and still wasn’t taking 10k month actions in my life, then it isn’t that 10k is too scary.
It’s that 10k isn’t juicy enough.
& the skinny?
I don’t think you need 50k months to live a beautiful, magnificent, transcendent life.
Hell, I’ve been pretty damn over the moon making 2.5k.
I don’t think money equals happiness.
I don’t want my worth or value tied up in my need for money.
I don’t want to sell out on my values.
I don’t want to take shortcuts or mirror the vileness that some multibillionaires exude, with their yachts polluting the ocean and rockets impaling the moon.
But what I DO know is that the dream and the vision that exists DEEP in my literal DNA is that I am on this Earth to live a life of purposeful work.
I see land restored, neighbors fed, communities supported, artists thriving.
In the reality I cocreate, the wealth I generate through aligned work and investments is the catalyst for change in my life, my community, and, in some very real ways, the world.
So 10k months don’t cut it.
They don’t get my juices flowing.
They only scratch the surface of what I’m trying to build.
When the dream is to purchase hundreds of acres of land across the nation for massive land conservation, sustainability, and community work, you have to be able to buy land.
When I can so clearly see a studio built by hand, meticulously designed by artisans out of recycled materials, that takes capital.
The list goes on.
So this is my official announcement: I am beginning a year-long journey to generate 50k in monthly revenue for myself through aligned work and investments, as someone currently making less than 1k a month.
And I’m taking you along with me. The highs, the lows, the big wins, and the confusing middles.
Next week, we talk about how the hell I started this process.
